We undertaking residential conveyancing for buyers only in cases where the buyer does not require a mortgage. We undertake residential conveyancing for sellers.
Our scale of fees for freehold residential conveyancing in transactions up to £1 million is at the rate of 0.6% of the consideration inclusive VAT. For transactions where the consideration is in excess of £1 million please contact us. This scale does not apply to new build homes.
Our scale of fees for lease residential conveyancing in transactions up to £1 million is at the rate of 0.7.5% of the consideration inclusive VAT. For transactions where the consideration is in excess of £1 million please contact us. This scale does not apply to new build homes.
In addition when buying a property there will be disbursements, such as search fees, indemnity policy fees particulars of which will be supplied on request.
We undertake probate cases and also act as executors. Our fees for obtaining grant of probate where there the estate comprises one freehold or leasehold property, no more than three bank accounts and one account holding publicly listed shares is 1% of the gross value of the estate including VAT. In addition, there will be other fees payable to the Probate Registry, particulars of which will be supplied on request.
Our work is generally based on time charges and we always provide details of these before we start work. In certain cases we may provide a fixed fee quotation if the client prefers.
We no longer undertake immigration work, or employee tribunal cases whether for employees or employers (unless they are part of a larger claim for wrongful dismissal and/or bonus claims and/or shareholder disputes) and we no longer undertake road traffic cases.
We do not undertake licensing applications.
